kembali ke listBanjarbaru - The first flight group’s hajj pilgrims from the Banjarmasin embarkation arrived at Syamsudin Noor Airport, on Sunday, September 18, 2016. The flight uses Saudi Arabian Airlines Airbus A330 with flight no. SV 5900 landed at 2:25 Central Indonesian Time, or retreat from the previous schedule at 1:00 Central Indonesian Time for adjustment of conditions at the King Abdul Aziz Airport, Jeddah.
The first flight group carried out 298 hajj pilgrims consisting of 136 men and 162 women. There were also 4 hajj pilgrims who used a wheelchair. They were from Tanah Laut, Banjarmasin, and Banjarbaru.
The General Manager of Syamsudin Noor Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan explained “Officers of Syamsudin Noor Airport are ready to serve homecoming of hajj pilgrims from the Holy Land to the country. We have coordinated with the Saudi Arabian Airlines and various other stakeholders. Similarly, if later the event of delay, we have prepared scenarios or handling procedures.” he said.
The hajj pilgrims must comply with airline regulations, among others, they should not bring zam-zam water in a suitcase. Pilgrims will get zam-zam water as much as 5 liters which will be distributed when arrived in Debarkation. For luggage, the maximum weight of suitcases is 32 kg, while for bags carried into cabin maximum is 7 kg.
Disembarkation or homecoming of Banjarmasin’s hajj pilgrims will take place from 18 September to 30 September 2016.
Hajj pilgrims of Banjarmasin embarkation previously departed from Syamsudin Noor Airport on 9 August 2016 ago. Total hajj pilgrims who departed from Syamsudin Noor Airport since 9 August to 23 August 2016 as many as 4,182 people.
